For those of you who have done CF for a while ... I'm here to say, it's okay to take some time off every once in while. Do the math. If you follow three on/one off as your workout protocol, you are performing a workout 274 days a year. A Crossfit workout is a competition every time you press that start button or start writing down those max weight lift attempts. Professional athletes don't compete 274 days a year. You probably shouldn't either. (One World)
Take a vacation folks. A week or two off is a good thing. I always come back from vacation totally stoked about training again. I vacation once or twice a year. I still manage to PR a few workouts every now and then, so taking a little time off is not going to send you back to the 24 Hour Fitness Cardio Classes. (One World)
With that said ... I'll be taking some time off to let my body recoup and energize. Mike and Kelly, don't worry because you better believe I'll be at the gym to push you through these WOD's regardless ... maybe I can get Kelly to tell me to shut up again :)
